Just when you think the album is calming down, the third song is Figure It Out, yes the song at first is gentle, but it is far from calm, especially when the bass kicks in to introduce you to the chorus, after listening to this a few times, you’ll be able to pick up the lyrics word for word. But everything about this song feels so unique to all the music I have listened to in my lifetime. But one of the best from the album, I just love the lyrics and can’t imagine how long it took to make song. It is a rather short song of 02:51minutes long. But the end, how much it reminded me of the soundtrack from Origin Of Symmetry, (Muses Second Album).Ĭome On Over doesn’t waste time at all with the singing, this is song is so recognisable. When the chorus is hit, the song hits you and nicely gradually calms down into the second verse to then hit you again with the chorus once more. It is truly an awesome to listen to, and one that can be listened to any time. There are moments in this song and others that I would do air guitar to. Out Of The Black has an interesting start, it is the starting song of the album, and starts it off brilliantly. Glastonbury and as mentioned above, the T in the Park festival. Royal Blood are from Brighton and have played multiple festivals. It’s incredible how sounds so good can come from a bass and drum kit.
And as a music reviewer, it is one of my favourite albums, even though it is just over 30 minutes long, it is a short but simply epic album overall. Their debut album was released on the 22nd August, and bought it a few days later. I didn’t know the songs, but did like them. At the time of when I started to listen to them. But after watching the same performance a few times over. The first time I ever listened to Royal Blood was when they performed at T in the Park a few months ago, at first I didn’t understand how a two piece band involving a bass guitarist and a drummer could work.
